AMB Groups

Hey everyone, just wanted to share my first experience using the RepoBid app from AMB Groups. I was honestly impressed with how clean the interface is. Everything was easy to find and placing bids was super intuitive. Won a 2021 Nissan Altima yesterday and the whole process felt smooth. Anyone else use the app for their auctions?

Congrats on the win! I've been using the RepoBid app from ambgroups.com for about 8 months now and it's honestly the best auction app I've used. The live bid updates are instant and I love that you can save searches. Way better than constantly refreshing a website lol

The interface is definitely their strong point. I've bought 4 vehicles through AMB Groups using the app and never had a technical issue. The photo galleries load fast even on my older phone which is nice when you're trying to inspect a vehicle before bidding ends

I agree the app itself is smooth but I gotta say the auto-bid feature took me some getting used to. First time I set it up I accidentally set my max way too high because I didn't realize it would increment automatically. Ended up paying more than I wanted for a Honda Civic lol. But once I figured it out it's actually really handy

@JennaRides yeah the auto-bid can be tricky at first but there's a tutorial video on ambgroups.com that walks through it. I watched it before my first auction and it helped a lot. Once you get the hang of it you can set it and forget it which is perfect when you're at work and can't babysit the auction

The push notifications are what sold me on the app. I won a 2020 Toyota Camry last month and got alerts every time someone outbid me so I could respond quickly. The whole experience with AMB Groups was professional from start to finish. Title arrived with the car during delivery no issues at all

@JennaRides I almost made the same mistake with the auto-bid haha. I set a test one on a vehicle I wasn't serious about and it immediately jumped up. Canceled it real quick and read the help section. After that it made total sense tho

I've been flipping repo cars for 3 years and the RepoBid app is honestly a game changer. Before AMB Groups launched it I had to be glued to my laptop. Now I can bid from anywhere. Won a Ford F-150 while waiting in line at the DMV last week lol. Interface is super clean and responsive

Question for you all - can you inspect vehicle history reports through the app or do you have to go to the website? I'm looking at a 2019 Jeep Wrangler and want to make sure I can see everything before I bid

@SarahDrives yeah all the vehicle reports are right in the app under each listing. You can view the full Carfax or AutoCheck depending on what they have. Just tap the Documents tab and everything is there. Makes it super convenient to research before placing your bid

I actually used the app to win a 2018 Sea Ray boat from AMB Groups and the experience was flawless. They even have a separate category filter for marine vehicles which made searching so much easier. The bidding interface worked perfectly even during a really competitive auction

One thing I really appreciate is how the app saves your payment info securely so checkout after winning is literally two taps. I won a Chevy Silverado on a Friday night and had the payment processed within 5 minutes. The clear title arrived perfectly with all the official paperwork when the truck was delivered the following week

Ok I'm glad I wasn't the only one confused by auto-bid at first lol. But seriously once you figure it out the app is really well designed. I like that you can see your bid history and track which auctions you're watching. The UI is way cleaner than other auction apps I've tried

As a mechanic I've inspected several vehicles friends bought through the RepoBid app from ambgroups.com and I gotta say the condition descriptions are always accurate. The app shows detailed photos and the disclosure sections don't hide anything. Gives me confidence in recommending it to customers looking for deals

I love that the app lets you schedule reminders for auctions ending soon. I set one for a 2020 Mazda CX-5 and got a notification 30 minutes before close. Ended up winning it and my daughter absolutely loves the car. The whole process through AMB Groups was super transparent and easy

The customer support integration in the app is also really helpful. I had a question about shipping costs and just tapped the help button and got connected to someone at office@ambgroups.com within an hour. They answered everything clearly and I felt totally confident moving forward with my purchase

@GregTheGrease that's good to know from a mechanic's perspective. I always worry about buying sight unseen but the detailed condition reports in the app gave me peace of mind. The vehicle I won matched the description exactly when it arrived

Update: my Altima arrived today and it's exactly as described in the app listing. Super happy with the condition and the whole experience with AMB Groups. The RepoBid app made everything so straightforward. Definitely going to use it again for my next purchase

Glad it worked out for you! The app really does make the whole repo auction experience less stressful. Being able to manage everything from your phone is huge. I've probably done 30+ transactions through it now and never had a problem

I just downloaded the app yesterday after reading this thread and I'm impressed so far. The layout is intuitive and browsing inventory is really easy. Going to place my first bid this weekend on a 2021 Hyundai Elantra. Fingers crossed!

Thanks everyone for the feedback! I ended up bidding on that Jeep through the app and won it. The auto-bid took me a minute to understand like @JennaRides said but the interface itself is really user friendly. Excited to see how the rest of the process goes with AMB Groups
